The WBE is compiling a list of community members willing to rent their properties in Wiikwemkoong that would be appropriate for prospective teachers and education staff moving to Wiikwemkoong to work. You must own the residence; it cannot be an RPM unit. SCHOOL CLOSURE for Tuesday June 27, 2023 for The Junior School and Pontiac school only due to the low air quality.
The Hub Center will remain open.
The high school will run as usual (this includes the grade 8's.) They will resume exams and classes with indoor gym and recess. Transportation will resume as usual for this group

Due to the freezing rain, and icy road conditions, and in the interest of safety, all schools including the Hub Centre, will be closed today. Parents are reminded not to send their children to the schools or daycare as these are all closed. Staff do not report to work today.
